I am interested in exploring the environmental stress tolerance, infection mechanisms of the foodborne intracellular bacterial pathogen Listeria monocytogenes and host immune responses against Listeria infection, as well as antibiotic resistance mechanisms of L. monocytogenes and other foodborne bacterial pathogens.
